What is stem cell therapy?
Stem cells are present in all of us acting like a repair system for the body. However, with increased age sometimes the necessary amounts of stem cells are not present at the injured area. The goal of stem cell therapy is to amplify the natural repair system of the body by increasing the numbers of stem cells at injury sites.
Stem cell therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that utilizes the body's natural healing mechanism to treat various conditions.
Benefits:
Provides an alternative to traditional surgery that uses hardware or artificial components to remove, suture, or replace injured tissue
Minimally invasive
No hospitalization
Reduced risk of complications compared to surgery (infection, bleeding, blood clots, reactions to artificial components, and post-procedure pain)
Natural pain relief instead of prescription medications
Increased healing potential
Improved mobility and function
Faster recovery time, reducing time away from work, sports, and daily activities
Am I a good candidate?
You’ve tried exercise, physical therapy, acupuncture, changing your diet, taking supplements, and exhausted your options. When joint issues get to this point, there are two main options left to seriously consider: Stem cell treatments or traditional surgery.
You may be a good candidate for stem cell therapy if you have been suffering from joint pain and want to improve your quality of life while avoiding complications related to invasive surgical procedures.
Stem cell therapy has successfully treated many orthopedic conditions, including:
Rotator cuff tears
Osteoarthritis
Knee pain
Hand and wrist pain
Muscle, tendon, or ligament tears (Knee, hip, shoulder)
Inflammatory problems like tendonitis and bursitis
